In recent years cycle tourism has undergone an enormous boom and this is one of the reasons that the Czech Hiker’s Club has prepared and discussed a methodical instruction for a uniform system of marked cycle trails on the territory of the Czech Republic with the Ministry for Transport. TJ (Physical Education group) Rožnov, together with the BESKYDY – WALLACHIA REGION Association, has prepared the recommended cycle trails in the whole Vsetín district, discussed these with the Czech Republic Forests and the BESKYDY Protected Landscape Area and on the basis of their approval a cycle trail map has been prepared. The recommended cycle trail routes were chosen so that they do not pose any risk to pedestrian tourists and were marked using band signs.
They also pass through the Starting point for the marked hiking trails – The “Rožnov zero kilometre” – (by the Videčský bridge).

- blue cycle trail Czech Hiker’s Club no. 6013 ( Rožnov - Hážovské díly, Tanečnice, Soláň, Benešky, Třeštík)

- blue cycle trail Czech Hiker’s Club no. 6016 ( Rožnov - Zubří, Zašová, Jehličná, Pod Huštýnem, Frenštát, Ráztoka, Pustevny)

- red cycle trail Czech Hiker’s Club no. 6012 ( Třeštík, Hlavatá, Martiňák, Pustevny, Skalíková louka - Rožnov - Vidče, Na spině, Velká Lhota, Val. Meziříčí)

- green cycle trail Czech Hiker’s Club no. 6014 ( Rožnov - Hážovice, Vigantice, Hutisko-Solanec, Čarták

- long-distance trail no. 46 – Vsetín, Dušná, Valašská Bystřice, Rožnov p.R., Černá Hora, Skalíková Louka, Pustevny, Český Těšín

Together with the boom in cycling, not only as a means of transport, but also as a certain form of tourism, it is desirable to deal with municipal bicycle traffic on municipal territory in connection with cycle trails within the region and the planned MORAVA cycle trail (along the Bečva and Morava Rivers).
